Sorry for the delay in posting the second part to my IMATS haul. It was my birthday on the 10th so I've basically had a birthday week :)

This post is obviously to show you the products that I bought from the Inglot stand. My first Inglot purchase was at IMATS 2012. I remember buying their nail polishes that time so this year I was back for more! They always have one of the biggest and most colourful booths at IMATS and there's just too much to choose from. They have a very wide range of nail polish, blush and lipstick shades; you're actually spoilt for choice.

I don't usually buy Inglot outside of IMATS but I think they have a store in the White City Westfield? I wasn't too sure of how the prices compared to their original but I bought these anyway.

To start off with, here are the products I bought from NARS. They are not usually at IMATS so I think everyone got a bit excited. People were pushing and shoving to take advantage of the 60% discount. In the end I'd had enough but I managed to walk away with 5 items for £42 which was definitely a bargain!

It feels like not long ago where I was posting pics from IMATS 2012. Time flew by!

I don't know why but I quite liked IMATS (International Makeup Artists Trade Show) this year, maybe it had something to do with the change of venue? This year instead of being in Alexandra Palace, it was held at The Olympia in Kensington. NARS and Bobbi Brown were also exhibitors this year which was quite exciting as they haven't been the past years I've attended.

As always, I attended the Saturday show. I fear that if I go on a Sunday, there'll be nothing left. I also got there a bit late so I didn't get a chance to attend any of the seminars and only had 3 hours to browse and shop. Because I was in such a rush (had somewhere to be after), I didn't manage to take as many pictures but for those who have never been or missed out this year, I thought I'd post pictures from the day.

I think I really need to start naming these types of posts "Face Of The Other Day" because I never get around to actually posting the pics on the right day! I haven't done one of these in ages so I thought I'd quickly post this for you.

Please excuse the powdery finish on my face, I had literally just finished doing my makeup and was in a rush to get out the door (ended up changing my top as well) so it hadn't yet settled in.

Notice I tried to put on eyeshadow that day lol. I must be the only beauty blogger out there who doesn't wear eyeshadow. To be honest, I was never really into it and I don't actually know how to apply it especially where I have hooded eyelids. I usually just dust bronzer over my eyelids lol. Since I bought eyeshadow at IMATS (a topic I still need to post about), I thought I'd give it a try. As you can see it had started creasing slightly already. I actually need your help! Does anyone have tips on eyeshadow for beginners? I would love to see your post on it. I'm open to suggestions so please help a girl out!

During Spring/Summer, I become obsessed with corals and peach tones. Literally everything I pick up will be in the same shade whether it be nail polish or a blouse. I think it's such a pretty colour for the season and very girly. They're the sort of shades I believe people of all tones can find to suit their skin. For my darker ladies, please try these shades, they complement our skin tone so well! Think of Ariane Davis from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta (if you watch it), do you know how good these shades look on her?!

WOW! I haven't blogged in 5 months and it actually seems like forever. I've even forgotten how to use this thing. Last week I think was the first time I had even logged into my account in so long. I have so much to catch up on!

I got busy with uni/work and to be honest, I also needed a break from blogging. You know when you just lose interest, lack motivation and feel like you're boring people? Yeah that..

I'm not going to tell you I'm back and I'm going to post every single day because I know myself and I know I wont but you know, posts here and there when I can. Please bear with me though as unfortunately I've lost all files, software, etc on my laptop because my hard drive got corrupted.

Since taking a break from the whole blogging thing, I've also been really bad with my emails so I'm sorry if anyone has been ignored! Another thing I find is that some of your emails actually go into my junk folder and I'm not sure why. I do want to thank everyone who checked up on me to see if I was alive lol. I really appreciate the love and support some of you give and yes I'm good and well.

You know I can't even believe I still have followers lol

Dupe Alert | Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy 908C and MAC Rebel..♥

As this is my first post of the year, it's only right that I still say Happy New Year to all my readers! I hope you've all been well and have had a good start to the new year.

I think I may have mentioned this before but I wanted to show you how close in colour MAC Rebel and Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy 908C were by taking pictures of swatches. I know MAC Rebel is a favourite of many and one of the most talked about MAC lipsticks. With it retailing at £14, I'm sure you'll be happy to know there's a cheaper alternative!

In my opinion these two lipsticks are very close to being identical both colour and finish wise. I'll say Sugar Plum Fairy is more pigmented and ever so slightly brighter but is not noticeable to most (my mum couldn't tell the difference). You may only notice if you spend time comparing the two shades.

They're both very long lasting lipsticks but I find Sugar Plum Fairy fades (not completely) quicker through the day than Rebel.

For my UK readers, I purchase Wet n Wild lipsticks from Beauty Joint for $2.75 which is approx £1.75!! US residents, I'm sure you can purchase them elsewhere for as little as $1.99. For those that live in other countries, Beauty Joint provide worldwide shipping but please do double check to make sure they deliver to your country.
